Now a proud resident of Grand Rapids, I arrived here only three years ago from Tampa, Florida, where I lived for 27 years. My husband, a native Michigander, was at a crossroad in his career, and I was desperate to raise our soon-to-be children anywhere but Florida. So with the newfound opportunity to move to any state, any city in the country, we chose Grand Rapids. It’s consistently in the top 10 of nearly every “Best City to Live” and “Best City for Families” list, even number one. And after spending a mere weekend here on a house hunt, we fell in love. It was one of the biggest and best decisions – and moves – we could ever make, and every day I am delighted that we did.  

I feel incredibly fortunate to call Heritage Hill home, where I live with my amazingly smart, intuitive and talented husband, two precocious and brilliant Gemini toddlers, and three freeloading felines.
